Legacy Family Tree is among the best of the genealogy database software for the PC and you can use the Standard Edition for free. This makes trying the application risk free, whether your new to genealogy or already using another program.
There is a Deluxe Edition and naturally it includes features not in the Standard Edition, but the free version has more than enough capability to make it useful. I’ve found that genealogy software is like shoes. All, but the most exotic are suitable, but each pair either feels right for you or doesn’t.
