		<description>Hi, Tom.

The GEDCOM transfer issues have not been ironed out. The GEDCOM standard allows developers to create their own tags and the developers have made different choices. I&#039;ve considered mapping the differences so that genealogists would know what to look for for each combination of application, but as you may be able to imagine, it would take a great deal of effort to create and maintain; I couldn&#039;t come up with a way to make it cost effective. The better long-term solution is to update or replace GEDCOM.

One option you may not have considered is running FTM on your Mac by using a PC virtualization application like Parallels Desktop or VMWare Fusion.

		<description>Hi Ben:
I have been considering purchasing a MAC. However, I am concerned about whether my Family Tree Maker GEDCOM file (especially all my source citations and records) will transfer seamlessly into Reunion.
I have no desire to re-enter all my source info, or to check it for each individual in my family file.
Is this a legitimate concern or have these kinks been worked out in the software?
Looking forward to your response.

		<description>Hi, Dwaine.

The Leister Productions site lists resellers in Canada: http://www.leisterpro.com/doc/buy.php#ca

Will any of them work for you?

<description>Amazon com must think my address is at the Arctic circle or a prison. They will not send me Reunion. Any suggestions? My address is 2995 Fraser Road, Maxville, Ontario, Canada K0c 1T0</description>
